OSHNA Needs Your Input

The OSHNA (Overseas School Health Nurses Association) is in the planning stages for the 2014 conference.  Next year's conference will be held in the Pacific for the first time ever!  The 2013 School Nurse of the year and 2014 OSHNA president, Lily Bagtas, is planning the event to be held in Tokyo, April 2014.

Each year an OSHNA member is publicly recognized and honored as the school nurse who demonstrates excellence in school nursing practice, leadership in school health and best promotes the role of school nursing in schools.

Candidates submit a portfolio demonstrating evidence of excellence in school nursing practice based upon the Scope and Standards of Professional School Nursing Practice (National Association of School Nurses and American Nurses Association, 2011).
