 Conference 2010

Despite a majority of you voting to have our next conference in Oberwesel, the facility there is, unfortunately, not available during the 2010 school year.  Your board continues to explore all venues with cost and convenience a priority.  Oberwesel will be explored for the 2011 conference.

Swine Flu Update

As the swine flu continues to spread across the United States -- and most cases continue to be mild -- federal health officials said Monday that they're shifting their focus from individual cases of infection to trying to project what is likely to occur with the virus in the fall.  The look towards a Fall re-surfacing of the virus was mentioned in the conference calls advertised by NASN.  A 1957 flu epidemic had similar patterns.  Read more about the CDC efforts at  http://health.yahoo.com/news/healthday/cdcshiftsswineflufocustolikelyimpactinthefall.html
