| Graduated from Dillard
University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where I received my BSN
degree. I later received an M Ed. Degree from National Louis
University in Evanston, Illinois. I have been employed by DODEA for more than thirty years and have worked at Bad Nauheim Elementary school in Bad Nauheim, Germany, Thomas A. Roberts Elementary School in Berlin, Germany and Argonner Elementary School in Hanau , Germany. I am presently living in Yokosuka, Japan and working at Nile C. Kinnick High School. During my tenure with DODDS I have been a cheerleader coach, safety patrol sponsor, Lab buddy, mentor program coordinator and health educator. I have also served as School/Home/Community Partnership chairperson, staff development chairperson and Step Team sponsor. I enjoy volunteer work and have lived in a monastery during the summers and assisted the Nuns with care of the sick, book repair, kitchen work and switchboard operations. I have also worked in soup kitchens, feeding the homeless in both Lithuania and Chicago. I am a volunteer at the community chapel. I am a Lector and assisted with retreats for both Teens and American Troops stationed overseas and I am an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. I enjoy listening to music, dancing, playing the guitar, singing, traveling and meeting new people. |
