Mission Statement 

The mission of OSHNA is to support it members in their role as the primary health care providers within the schools and as advocates for the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students in their care.

Vision Statement 

We see the Overseas School Health Nurses Association as the leading organization in the promotion of a positive image of the specialized practice of school nursing through its support of professional, evidenced-based nursing practice, continued professional education, and leadership development.

Goals 

Goals of the organization include:

     * Enhance communication among overseas professional nurses, polic makers, community resources, and school stakeholders.

     * Facilitate annual conferences to provide professional development to enable overseas professional nurses to keep on the cutting edge in school nursing and health care trends.

     * Maintain a professional relationship with the National Associan of School Nurses

     * Provide opportunities for leadership development
